I don't know where to begin.

On OzChess freedom of expression exists, but I think we also need to pride ourselves on being civil towards on another. This recent stouch shows how easy it is to sometimes go astray.

I think there is some blame to go around here as follows:

I don't think it was helpful for Axiom to start a thread calling Dean a Judas;
I don't think it was helpful for Dean to imply Jaydon is impressionable simply because he is young; and
I don't think it was helpful for Jaydon to ban Dean from the shoutbox for 10 minutes.

OzChess was started as an alternative to the nastiness of Chess Chat, and with the recent growth of the forum I guess it was inevitable that a personal conflict would erupt eventually.

But hopefully everyone can simply shake

and move on from this. To help facilitate that, I am going to close this thread.
