Well I equate square with being boring. A square peg in a round hole misses out on a lot of the best twisted bits on the edges.

About Ax's posts, I don't even read them. I read one of the early ones re the tigers, good story-teller this guy I thought. But as completely harmelss should never have been banned.

All those religious idiots cant prove one thing but they rant and rave about JC (on CC), yet when Ax shows a bit of real creativityy he is barred by the Nazi's. And worse still those religious nuts are serious.

Just as they persecuted you over there for no reason they also picked on Ax. Why don't they also pick on the religious nuts.

they are a service to the Chess community! You find useful information about events in Australia and all over the world there, you can promote chess related events and personalities there!
It's a free service to the community. Someone has to pay for them to keep them going.
Some others have to provide their volunteer work (additional to their volunteer work in clubs and other chess related administration) to keep them going.
What AUTHORITY?
WHAT DEMOCRACY?
WHAT PRICE DIGNITY?
Having said all that, there are times that mods and admin make my stomach turn with their attitude. I am about to explode, to hit back, to go ballistic!
Then I think about it! Would I be able to provide the service they provide If they weren't there?
NO!
Would I be able to last one hour (let alone one day) in their shoes?
NO!
Would I go off against them and say "stuff your forums"? Would I confront the crackpots, lone rider losers, unwashed blockheads who think they can poke fun at me in the shoutbox? Would I take them for a nice face to face private meeting outside the tournament hall next time I see them around? and they know I go around places alot don't they?
You can guess the answer to all the above!

Jaydon, I don't know who you are but over there Gunnar referred you as a twit for advocating the unbanning of Axiom, in the help and feedback thread I think it was.

If you don't dispute it people may believe it?

Actually, the get a kick out of insulting a lot of people - not just limited to juniors. Hence, the reason this place exists - something of a sancuary from their abuse, where we can freely and civily discuss chess - and have fun at the same time!
