I can tell you the team i played in at this point was, in board order

1. Nexus
2. Ox
3. Ax
4. Vixen

Our team manger was obsessed with the letter "X", he said it was a subliminal message conveying to our opponents that we are all about "taking".

Taking the very piece out of them!

Also he said the "X" was a symbol originally derived from the shape vine binding makes when a stone blade is fastened to a wooden club, in forming an axe.

Of course I was flattered.

I also recall one team called "Death Square 64" who were bikies wearing black leather jackets with an embroidered image of a chess board with blood oozing from the a1-h8 diagonal on the back.
Naturally they played hyper aggressive openings , and when anyone of their team won , it was their custom to simply pick up the opponent's king and snap it in two directly in front of the opponent's nose.
This was an understood and accepted custom from this team , much the same way the haka is accepted in rugby union.
Wow, viscous. lol.
