Ah, the old AFCL vs the AJCL trick. I spend much more of my time in and on football (Soccer) than chess, so football-chess, chess-football, they leak into each other sometimes.
Imagine the stink if the World Cup (football) was held in the same country twice in a succession. Mate, it simply would not happen because it would not be good for the game. However, in the case of junior chess in Australia, who knows what the ACF will rule - and they will rule. The ACF has the AJCL gonads in a vice and a 1200W power drill attached to the handle.
In fact, the AJCL has been totally silenced by the ACF. The ACF will continue to say when and where the Australian Junior Championships will be held. It will even let Mt Buller types monopolise the Championships to a minor desert capital, at the expense of the future of chess in major population centres on the east coast.
