Perhaps however each state has a year in which it has the option to hold the event without it going out to bids.
Tasmania were scheduled to hold the junior in 2008. Tasmania did not exercise their option to hold it. NSW therefore bid for the event and awarded it by the ACF.
NSW were scheduled to hold the junior in 2009. NSW did not exercise its option to hold it. SA therefore bid and were awarded it by the ACF.
SA are scheduled to hold the junior in 2010. They have advised the ACF they intend to exercise their option to hold it.
