As far as the forum growth is concerned:
1) the key is to get as many contributors/readers as possible. This is why it would be nice to reach an agreement with ChessChat ...on mutual promotion activities.
2) good to have competitions (e.g. i really like the idea about free entry to Aus Day weekender..but i guess its going to work for Vic-Based members only..may be some australia wide comp. emm)
3) The more money the Forum owners/moderators earn..the more time they got to devote to the forum. Lets have Google-Supported advertising throughout the site
4) May be have some blogs etc..(similarly to GM Baggeri's site) along with the forum
