Well spotted pax , but why can't you see this as deflection ,evidence that you live in an Unrepresentative democracy ?

This is a classic example of most people's blindness to the proverbial elephant in the room .
Re-look at the politics posts over there , and see jono,gd,boris,gfather,joker et al argue within a very narrow scope of awareness . Both sides cannot understand all the seeming absurdity from the other side , without realising , both sides are conned . Why ? Because there is no "other side" its just a manipulation , a front , a puppet show , to fool us into believing we have representative govt .
Look with fresh eyes .
See how your loving "representative" govt administers to the most basic important human primary needs - water (no forward planning, dams), food (poor treatment of farmers/growers , prices,encouraging supermarket monopolies ) shelter (100,000s homeless , property prices , land release).
Now i'm not saying govt should necessarily be involved in these areas,but to the mass brainwashed who think they should/do - you'd think they might start to wonder whose side their various govts are on .
Can anyone hazard a guess ?
