whats the NOW forum? i thought this was an ozchess forum. Anyway, No, the Nimzo Indian is the following moves:
1. d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Bb4
There are a wealth of variations of this opening, most of which i dont understand except i know that the leningrad variation (4.Bg5 c5 5.d5) isn't good (bad experiences with white).
And the QGD is simply 1.d4 d5 2.c4 e6, with again loads of variations. These are both solid openings, and are going to last a long time despite revelations in opening theory. Anyway, i could put way more information up in a new thread, but for some reason it hasnt been 'cleared by an administrator' for about 4 days. That way, people can be directed to what they are looking for, instead of a post under 'advertise chess books for sale?'
