For me it was installing a chess game on my blackberry phone. I found that I always have my phone on me and when I was waiting for something I can play a move or two at a time. This allowed me to play a game or two per day just in my spare time. Playing a game or two per day got me to the point where I was no longer making stupid mistakes and that was a huge improvement.
