Predictions are just that, predictions - not certainty. The media report the
worst case senario rather than the
most likely outcome. Do not blame scientist for that.
2. Professor Ulrich Keil, the WHO adviser on heart disease, added that the decision had led to a “gigantic misallocation” of health budgets.
He has an axe to grind and is grinding it. He is
right to grind it because his important area is underfunded when compared to "lesser" health issues.
3. Fukuda told the inquiry. “Let me state clearly for the record – the influenza pandemic policies and responses recommended and taken by WHO were not improperly influenced by the pharmaceutical industry.” I hope he is right because if ( IF ! ) he is wrong there will be a credabilty gap when the next
dangerous* virus appears. We await the PACE report.
*Dangerous as in, "That angry drunk is driving fast with a shot gun on his lap."
