I have recently joined this forum so I am making my first post on the forum by announcing Club Championships at Noble Park which begins this Saturday. I will put up list of entries tomorrow night. If anyone wishes to play, let me know.

To be held at the Paddy O'Donoghoue Centre 18-32 Buckley Street Noble Park 3174.

A 9 Round Swiss Tournament ACF and FIDE Rated !!!

Entry fees: GM and IM free, Full fee $55, Concession and Juniors $45, Family 2 or more players $45 each.
Payments:First day of play
To be able to play in this tournament, players have to be club members. Yearly membership fees are $100 full and $75 concession. If players wish to become members only for half a year, they will be able to do so. In that case fees will be $60 full and $40 concession. If a player is unable to pay the membership fees at once, they are able to pay the fees over a period of time.
Prize fund: Total Prize fund $1400 (based on 30 entries)
1st: $500 +Trophy
2nd:$300
3rd: $150
2 Rating Prizes: $150 in each division
Best Junior Prize: $150 (min 5 junior entries)
If there are more than 30 entrants, the prize fund will increase. No matter how many players there are, 80% of the entry fees will go back to the players.
Prizes will be shared equally between players on equal scores, but there will be a playoff for the Club Champion if there is a tie for first place.
Starting time: 2 p.m. sharp on all playing days
Rate of play: 90 minutes + 30 sec per move
