Personally I would like to see separate rating lists for blitz, allegro and rapid chess as well as G-60/75 (separated from G/90 = FIDE chess).

What do you think of five Rating systems for the five different OTB games?
hi Brian
Sun is shining; I have been to the TAB to pick up Cup winnings; just enjoying a glass of Hunter Valley Semillon; cricket on in the background; and now I get your interesting question on rating lists.

Blitz...not many events that would get rated in VIC. My view...NO.
Allegro.... a favourite of ours, probably Australia's biggest user of this service. My view...YES please.
Rapid...a few tourneys here, but we regard much the same as Allegro. My view...lukewarm.
Traditional...regularly used. My view....YES.
Elite........is this really different from Traditional. My view....LUKEWARM.
Correspondence....oddly missed off your list of 5. Your mag. is a chess mag. is it not.

ps Perhaps should be a new thread, but it will not hurt to focus on your must-read magazine.
