I attended that court case against that church mob re Noah's Ark. He was ridiculous as KB and BG in his attack on that religious guy. It all hung on whether it was a commercial entreprise or not. Whereas Ian thought he would fight them on science.

If Plimer had won that one (and I was in his corner until judges decision and reason) it would have meant that every cause-oriented group may be classified as carrying on a business entreprise and have all sorts of hassles.

Though I hate religions, esp creationist rubbish, freedom of speech is more imp.

But overall, to have legal costs of hundreds of thousands of dollars was ridiculous. They used to haul about 3 or 4 trolleys of documents in each morning. And the silks got paid fortunes for it.
