6.1 Rating Differentials
Moved D. Sampson, seconded B. Thomas, that the CAQ council requests the ACF Ratings Officer to supply the Rating Differentials used in the calculations of ACF ratings to the CAQ Ratings Officer. Carried.

I had a chance to speak with Brian Thomas, CAQ Secretary, about the above motion and what action had been taken to inform Bill Gletsos of the CAQ position. Brian said he had spoken with Bill regarding it, that Bill said releasing the RD's would 'confuse' too many people, and that Bill Gletsos would not comply with the motion (which was democratically passed by the CAQ Council).
Might I state that while Bill Gletsos may be easily confused on a great many topics, the average chess player would not be easily confused if RD's were to be made public.
