Leonard talks about organising an MIO but here is a ready-made competition with a great brand name already (who doesn't know the Melbourne Cup). What do you think? The joint-tournament has the benefit of a few extra pair of hands for organisation, pooled sponsorship, etc.

Hi Mike, yes a joint venture to build a massive tournament would be the ideal but this year it is too late in the day to accomplish this. It would probably need some central organisation as the main sponsors, Bendigo Bank, are looking at local sponsorship for local events. So getting the Carlton Branch and the Elwood Branch tojoint sponsor an event might be problematic.
