When you solve a lot of puzzles, you can not avoid the fact that certain composers have an unique, easily detectable style. One of my favourites,Fritz Giegold aka 'Rätsel Onkel' (Puzzle Uncle), certainly does. His problems are often without many variations, contain a hidden point and above all makes you smile and feel good when you 'get them'.
I recall one of the earlier ones I was looking in the local library. When I suddenly stumbled on the solution, I had no alternative, but laugh aloud, drawing some nasty frowns from other patrons. Here it is for your enjoyment:
